On 24th April 2018, we reached out to Pranay Paw on LinkedIn... a healthcare expert, owning care homes, a nursery, hotels, an estate agency and Target Training, a company that offers advice on business growth and start-ups.
One of Pickford’s specialism’s is Healthcare. Our corporate team are experts in assisting business owners, buy, run and sell Healthcare companies. There was an obvious synergy!
Over 12 months the relationship developed, and an idea became a reality…
On 23rd April 2019, Pickford’s joined forces with Target Training to host a fun filled networking event!
Both businesses pulled together their closest business contacts, which included experts in the healthcare, marketing, events, advertising, education and financial sectors.
Invitations went out, and our systems exploded with acceptance emails!
All 40 attendees gathered together to meet new contacts, listen and learn from our brilliant guest speakers whilst enjoying the amazing food Kajal Indian Cuisine had to offer.
We don’t do things by halves…
Our guests were greeted with an open bar, a two-course meal and some tasty personalised cupcakes to take away!
The Benefits of Social Media Marketing…
Sarah Rhodes, one of the owners of The Best of Walsall, spoke to us about the benefits of social media marketing. Sarah gave detailed information on the different social media platforms available to businesses, how to improve your SEO rankings (without spending thousands) and the benefits of using video and images to advertise your business.
Everyone in the room took something away from Sarah’s top tips and Sarah has several coffees arranged with prospective clients over the next couple of weeks, which is amazing!
The Buddy Bag Foundation
Chris Williams, one of the brilliant founders of The Buddy Bag Foundation spoke to us about his amazing non-profitable charity. The Buddy Bag Foundation provides children’s rucksacks filled with essentials such as pyjamas, underwear and books. The rucksacks are distributed to women’s refugees across the UK, and the rucksacks are given to children on arrival. These children often arrive with nothing!
Chris made a real impact, inviting some of the guests to read testimonials left by children, mothers and refuge workers.
We had the pleasure of being photographed by one of Walsall College’s photography students, Finn, who did an amazing job of capturing the incredible atmosphere that filled the room!
“A great experience with lovely people and an amazing opportunity to meet and make contacts” Finn Elwell
Cue the applause…
The feedback that we have received has been incredible…
“Fantastic event, privileged to be part of it” Craig Suttle
“Amazing company, great evening well done, with lots of amazing contacts.” Carl Haughton
“Great combination of business & social and that’s how relationships are built. Thank you” Chris Williams
Thank you to everyone who attended, and we look forward to catching up with you again soon!
